Bicycle and Pedestrian Connectivity Master Plan

The City of Decatur is developing  a bicycle and pedestrian connectivity master plan to create a interconnected system of bike paths and trails throughout the City. The PATH Foundation along with KAIZEN Collaborative are leading this study and held workshop for residents at the Decatur Recreation Center on Wednesday, October 19, to discuss options for improving facilities for bicyclists and pedestrians in Decatur.

Below are the PATH Foundation’s workshop presentation and a survey asking residents how to improve the way bicyclists and pedestrians move around Decatur and how to have better trail connectivity throughout Decatur and beyond. Please send any comments you may have to Hugh Saxon at
