Annual Kids Activity Book:
A Fun Way to Learn about Our City

Decatur Kids Activity Book 2008The Georgia Municipal Association has designated a week in April as Georgia Cities Week. Decatur celebrates with an Activity Book distributed as an insert in the April issue of the Focus newsletter. This annual booklet of games and puzzles features information about Decatur's government and city services, presented in a fun yet informative format. The booklet is designed for all ages, but is especially suitable for elementary-age children. You and your family can have fun with it while learning new things about how Decatur works as a city. Extra copies of the Activity Book are available for interested students, Girl and Boy Scout troops, after-school groups, and other organizations that work with children. Call Tammy Washington, 404-371-8386, or send an email to request extra copies.
