Youth Athletics

Several popular sports are offered through our youth athletics program:

Volunteer Coaches
The success of our youth athletics program is largely due to the enthusiasm and support from our volunteer coaches. All coaches are required to be NYSCA certified.  Decatur Active Living offers free certification for all league coaches.  Coaches that can not attend the certification on the day classes are offered for certification can complete the online certification at www.nays.org. All first year coaches that are NOT certified for the sport they are interested in coching must complete the certification.
