Zipcar in Decatur

There are seven zipcar vehicles available in and around the downtown area. Zipcar is a progressive way to get around town that saves time, money and the environment. The low-emission, fuel-efficient vehicles are parked near homes and workplaces. Members use them when they need them, paying an hourly rate that includes gas, insurance and maintenance.

To use Zipcar, join online at www.zipcar.com. You can reserve a car online, drive to your meeting or do your errands, and then return the car to its designated parking space. The hourly rate covers gas, premium insurance and 180 free miles.

• Convertible: Decatur MARTA Station, Church Street and Sycamore (Mini Convertible); $13/hr., $95 daily.
• Hybrid: N. McDonough Street and Trinity Place (Toyota Prius); $7/hr.
• SUV: Commerce Drive and W. Ponce de Leon (Element); $11/hr., $77 daily.
• Hybrid: Clairemont Avenue and Commerce Drive (Civic Casterline); $9/hr., $66 daily.
• Hybrid: Agnes Scott College, South Loop and N. Candler St. (Honda Civic); $9/hr., $66 daily.
