Pools

Looking to make a splash with a pool party? You're in luck! Our three outdoor pools - Glenlake Pool, Ebster Pool, and McKoy Pool - are available for rent online through CommunityPass. Alternatively, you can call 404-377-0494 or visit any of our four centers - Decatur Recreation Center, Ebster Recreation Center, Oakhurst Recreation Center, or Glenlake Tennis Center - for assistance from our front desk team members. Booking your pool party is a breeze!

Please note that pool parties must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance of the desired date. Additionally, payment in full is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.

Pools Available for Rental

All of our pools are open for private parties from May 25 to August 25. Pool rentals for the upcoming season will commence on May 1, 2024.

Refunds and Rescheduling

In the event of inclement weather or pool contamination preventing swimmers from entering the water, the city will offer refunds or rescheduling options.

Pool Guidelines: Have Fun, Be Safe, Learn to Swim!

To keep pools safe we ask patrons to follow these guidelines:

• Large floats or inner tubes are not permitted, as they obstruct the view of the lifeguards. Water guns, throwing toys or other items that may cause harm are prohibited. Small floating toys or pouring toys are acceptable for tots. Safety of items will be determined at the discretion of the pool staff.
• Children may wear coastguard-approved PFDs with close parental supervision.
• Patrons swimming with children who wear diapers must use "leak proof" baby swimsuits, swim diapers, or diapers covered with snug-fitting plastic pants.
• Parents are encouraged to accompany their children to the pool and to supervise them closely while in the water. They are also asked to discuss pool safety rules with their children and to encourage respect for pool rules and pool staff.

Camps
All camps must be scheduled to be admitted to the pool. Please contact Glenlake Tennis Center at 404-377-7231 to schedule your camp. Unscheduled camps may be denied entry to the pool.
